First, print the instructions. We recommend that you print these and use them as a reference while downloading the font. To print, simply choose Print from the File Menu.

Click on the link to start downloading the Amharic font.

You can also install these other fonts. Please note that Install directions may be slightly different.

In the File Download dialog box:

  • Click Run this program from its current location.

 

  • Click OK.

In the Security Warning dialog box:

 

  • Click Yes.

In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box:

 

  • Click Unzip.

You will be promoted with a WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, saying the font has been unzipped successfully.

  • Click OK.

 

  • Click Close on the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box.

You need to activate the font by opening the fonts directory. This step will also verify if the font has been it installed.

On your windows Desktop:

  • Click on Start and then Run
8 On the Run dialog box:
  • In the Open

The Font directory will open.

  • Verify if the font is listed. (no action necessary on this step)

Close the Fonts Directory:

  • Click File.

 

  • Click Close
